Did you know you can now use Yahoo! Mail to send IMs? With the click of a mouse, you can start sending IM conversations right from the new Yahoo! Mail inbox without opening your Yahoo! Messenger client.
To begin, log-in to your Yahoo! Mail account and locate the online Yahoo! Contacts panel on the left-hand side of the screen, underneath your Yahoo! Mail folders. Double-click the Yahoo! ID or screenname for the contact you would like to IM. Don’t see the contacts panel? If you don’t see the contacts panel, chances are you may not be using the new Yahoo! Mail. In order to switch from Classic Yahoo! Mail to new Yahoo! Mail, click “All-New Mail” to switch.
