Similar to the IM Me device for girls, Rip Roar’s IM puts instant messaging wirelessly within reach for boys when they are away from the computer or the desktop is already in use.

Unlimited IM Anywhere in the House

Using an existing AIM, Yahoo! or Windows Live Messenger account and a wireless USB base station, the IM allows users to roam about the house as they chat with multiple friends on the device. Additionally, users can also share peer-to-peer chats on multiple IM units, up to 100 feet.

A cool, blue shell and easy-to-use QWERTY keyboard makes this little device a great gift for the holidays for any tech-savvy boy.

The IM is available online and in stores.
