Accessing Your Contacts List
To begin, make sure you are signed in, then access your Facebook contacts by clicking the tab labeled “Online Friends,” as it appears in the bottom right hand corner of Facebook. A list will pop-up showing you all the available friends you have online to chat with.Double-clicking on a contact will open a new IM, which will tab automatically along the bottom of Facebook.
