Simple Steps to Sending IMs on MySpace

With MySpaceIM's new embedded IM client, sending and receiving Ims from your favorite MySpace friends is fast and easy. To check out your online MySpaceIM contacts, click "Online Friends." Double-clicking your MySpace contact's name will open a new IM window.

To send your first message, type your message in the field at the bottom of the IM window.

Popping Out MySpaceIM

Need to pop out the IM window in its own separate browser window? Click "Pop Out IM" in the upper, right-hand corner of the IM window.

Blocking a MySpaceIM User

Receive an IM from a MySpace user you'd rather not IM with? Just press "Block" in the upper, right-hand corner to block this user from sending you Ims on MySpace.

Receive a Threatening or Explicit MySpaceIM

Have you received an IM on MySpace threatening you or explicit in nature? Report the user to MySpace by clicking "Report Abuse" in the upper, right-hand corner of the IM window.

Clear the MySpaceIM Window

After a long conversation, the MySpaceIM window can become burdensome and bulky with messages to arrow through. Simplify sending and reading MySpaceIMs by clicking "Clear History" in the upper, left-hand corner.
