This portable IM app provides all the same great features as AIM and ICQ, but with a file size small enough to operate off a portable USB drive.

Downloading TerraIM Portable App

First, download the TerraIM portable app on the TerraIM website. A window will appear asking users to specify where to download the application. Ensure your USB drive is connected and select this drive as the destination.

Once download is complete, change the name of the file from “TerraIM_1.2.1.exe” to “TerraIM.exe,” for better portability.

Using TerraIM Portable IM

Once download is complete, clicking “TerraIM.exe” (as it will appear on your USB drive upon changing the filename) will open the application.
