Downloading Pidgin Portable Portable App
First, download the Pidgin Portable portable app from the Pidgin website. A window will appear asking users where to download the application. Ensure your USB drive is connected and select this drive as the destination drive.
Using Pidgin Portable Portable App
Once the application has been downloaded, clicking “PortablePidgin.exe” (as it will appear on your USB Drive) will open the application. Current Pidgin users can transfer any personal settings used by copying any local settings to their USB Drive into the file titled “PidginPortable\Data\”.
