Follow these easy steps to open a Gmail message addressed to your contact directly from your desktop IM client:
- Locate the Gtalk contact you wish to email on your contacts list.
- Double-click their name to open an IM window.
- Click the drop-down menu (as illustrated above) and select "Email"
