Clearing Your Facebook Chat IMs
With your Facebook Chat IM open, scroll to the top, locate and click on the link titled “Clear Chat History.” This will clear all the text and mini-feed information which preceded the last message sent (including that message), giving you a clean chat window by which you can continue to chat with your contact.This feature does not, however, clear the conversation on your contact’s end of the chat.
