How to Limit Yahoo! Interruptions

Brandon, is there anyway to appear online to some people and offline to other people? I like to sign in to Yahoo! at work, but can't have too many distractions. --Lauren Camey, Rochester, NY

While you can't be selective in who you appear online to, you can choose to go invisible on Yahoo! Messenger. This functionality helps you appear offline while allowing you to send out IMs to the online users of your choice. Additionally, you may consider turning off incoming PC-to-PC calls and setting your availability to keep interruptions at bay.
