According to a survey conducted by Nielsen Netratings, the fastest growing websites of 2007 featured a web-based IM client for their users to utilize while on their site. Among the results, Meebo, IMVU, Google Talk, Skype and Paltalk.com all ranked as the some of the most popular sites of 2007, based on web traffic and total use of their clients.
